France to Provide Ukraine with “Powerful Armored Assistance Package”: President Zelensky

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced France’s intention to transfer a “powerful armored assistance package” to the armed forces of Ukraine. Mr. Zelensky wrote about this on Telegram following a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

“The speed and specificity of the response is very important, this is what significantly enhances our capabilities. We appreciate the confirmation by France of providing our armed forces with a powerful armored package,” the President of Ukraine wrote. What exactly will be included in this package, the head of state did not specify.

In January, France agreed to provide Ukraine with AMX-10 RC light tanks. In addition, Paris, in particular, supplied the Ukrainian Armed Forces with Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts and SAMP / T anti-aircraft missile systems.
