A forest fire left several areas of Spain, France and Portugal without electricity yesterday.
The fire caused a power line accident.
In southwestern France alone, more than 100,000 households were affected by the accident.
The fire covered an area of nearly 5 square kilometers between Narbonne and Carcassonne.
At least 800 hectares of forest have been burned, the French fire service said.
According to them, the outbreak occurred near a highway leading from Carcassonne to Narbonne.
More than 120 people had to be evacuated in the municipality of Foncouvert.
Hundreds of firefighters and several firefighting aircraft were sent to put out the blaze.
No casualties have been reported so far.
