Good honor for Gerd Müller: the French trade newspaper France Football dedicates a different trophy to the famous striker who died in August 2021. As introduced by the newspaper, the “Müller Trophy” will be awarded to the ideal striker of the calendar year. The club and national ambitions are decisive for the prize.
“No person justifies this honor a lot more than him,” stated Oliver Kahn, Bayern Munich CEO. Club icon Müller was “the most prosperous striker Germany has at any time experienced and a person of the finest strikers in world football heritage. He is an absolute Bayern legend”, Kahn praised the “bomber”.
Müller also had it in 1970 France Football awarded the Ballon d’Or. His 365 Bundesliga plans are unmatched to date.
For the German countrywide team, the entire world and European champion has won 68 times in 62 appearances, in the 1974 Planet Cup last from the Netherlands he scored the successful purpose 2-1.
