The Dutch football players have finished second in the Tournoi de France. In the last game, they lost 3-1 to the host country, which won the four-country tournament.
The Orange had previously drawn 1-1 against Brazil during the mini-tournament and won 3-0 against Finland. France was also without damage and took the title.

Lieke Martens soon missed a dot of an opportunity in Le Havre; she shot too high in haste. In the remainder of the first half, however, the Orange suffered continuous loss of ball in midfield and was completely outclassed.
Especially right winger Kadidiatou Diani was elusive and she also had a share in both French hits, the first of which was made from eleven meters after a handball from unlucky Merel van Dongen by captain Wendie Renard.
