France rejects “an agreement at any price” with the United Kingdom | Economy

The French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Clément Beaune, assured that France will not accept “an agreement at any price with London on the future relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union after Brexit.

“If an agreement is reached we will examine it. If it is not good and in accordance with our interests, particularly for fishermen, France, like any other Member State, can issue a veto,” Beaune said in an interview published this Sunday by the weekly “Le Journal du Dimanche”.
