In European festive evenings and especially Parisian nights, the GPS photographer is at the heart of the events. He is one of the great photographers present at parties with this passion he has for immortalizing the soul of the evenings with his camera. As soon as you arrive, he welcomes you with a mesmerizing smile, capturing your beauty under the lights. Throughout the evening, he passes between shadows and lights, filming emotions, laughter, and intimate moments.
It’s his job and he’s been doing it very well for years. The apotheosis of his artistic journey took place in Bilbao, when he was presented with the precious LONDON OSCARS trophy, (it should be noted that he received this trophy in Bilbao because he was absent in London during the ceremonies) . This honor was bestowed on him by Patrick Moukala, a revered figure, who is compared to Nelson Mandela in the world of culture.
The emotion that overwhelmed him in that moment was as deep as the passion he has for his profession as a photographer. He feels deep in his being that this recognition is a reflection of his dedication to his art. For GPS, photography is much more than just a profession, it is a sacred mission that allows us to immortalize the ephemeral and capture the essence of each precious moment. With a passion that burns like a blazing fire, he felt the need to create an association that would elevate the art of photography to previously unexplored heights. This is how Aphodi, the Association of Photographers of the Diaspora, was born.
This association will bring together not only photography lovers, but also people who share the vision of a united community, working hand in hand to reveal the splendor of the diaspora. Their ultimate goal is to enhance the image of their community, to highlight its hidden riches, and to celebrate the beauty of diversity. In this photographic adventure, GPS warmly invites all those who share this passion to join Aphodi. Together, they are determined to travel the path that will lead them to even greater horizons, while letting the gentle glow of image and creativity guide their path.
