Libreville, September 5, 2024 (AGP) – After almost two months of waiting, President Emmanuel has just named Michel Barnier as Prime Minister, we learn from the international media.
Coming from a right-wing political group, the appointment of the new Prime Minister of France comes after the second round of the legislative elections, and the numerous consultations made by President Emmanuel Macron in recent weeks.
In this regard, he received the leaders of the parliamentary groups and leaders of political parties at the Elysée, before rejecting the hypothesis of the government of the New Popular Front (NFP) led by Lucie Castets.
