The German basketball players are facing something that several German teams have already had to complete at these Olympic Games: a knockout match against France. While the women’s basketball and women’s handball teams were both eliminated in the quarter-finals, the handball players, as we know, advanced to the semi-finals after a very exciting final phase.
The DBB men can even make it to the final against the French. Kick-off is on August 8th (Thursday) at 5.30 p.m. You can watch the Olympic semi-final between France and Germany live on TV and via live stream.

As is well known, the broadcasting rights for the 2024 Olympics are held by the public broadcasters and by Warner Bros. Discovery, which is represented in this country with its brands Eurosport and Discovery+. On the public broadcasting side, ARD is the next to broadcast the event this Wednesday.
The game will therefore be broadcast on free TV on ARD and Eurosport 1, but as part of the broadcasters’ major Olympic conference and may therefore be interrupted by other sports. It can be seen in full in the free live stream from ARD and ZDF in their media libraries and on sportschau.de, as well as in the paid stream on Discovery+ and on the pay-TV channel Eurosport 2.
The conference calls are also available as a live stream. The broadcast of Das Erste is available as usual in the ARD media library. Eurosport 1 can be viewed via the free streaming service Joyn or for DAZN subscribers. Eurosport 2 can also be received via DAZN.
