“By the beginning of January, we can expect more than 250 thousand cases a day,” said the head of the Ministry of Health.

The minister once again stressed that only vaccination against COVID-19 will help overcome the pandemic, and urged fellow citizens to get vaccinated, including pregnant women. According to him, “it is not only possible, it is recommended.”

Note that in France, with a population of 67.4 million, about 51.6 million people are fully vaccinated against coronavirus, about 22.5 million people received a booster dose.

At the same time, the country’s government decided to shorten the period between the second and third COVID vaccinations from four to three months. Also, the authorities are considering the possibility of introducing a fourth dose of the vaccine.
