The Dutch do not need a test result if they can demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated with a corona vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Janssen.
The new rule will also apply to travelers from the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
Was expected
According to correspondent Eveline Bijlsma, this is ‘in line with expectations’. “They have also done this before when it came to apply to Portugal and Spain, because those countries are red on the European corona map.”
The Netherlands is now also turning red on that map. According to Bijlsma, it happened faster than with Portugal and Spain. “That happened after a week.”

ANWB: travel smart
The ANWB advises Dutch holidaymakers to plan smartly and to travel well prepared. The new tightening in France has been incorporated on the ANWB Reiswijzer, the internet page where information about the corona measures can be found for popular holiday countries.
The French government is tightening its policy further now that the corona virus seems to be spreading faster in several countries. The French will soon also need a so-called health card if they go to public places. With such a ‘pas sanitary’ they can show that they have been vaccinated, tested negative or have recently recovered from the corona virus.
