A year after their coronation at the Olympic Games, French volleyball players won the Nations League this Sunday by beating the United States in five sets in Bologna, Italy. Largely superior to their opponent in the first two sets they won, the French saw the Americans come back to equality and force a decisive set. A set during which the Blues regained their level at the start of the match to win and win their first Nations League and the first trophy for the new coach who arrived after the games, the Italian Andrea Giani. One month before the start of the world championships, the French volleyball players achieved an XXL performance by losing only two sets, during the final, throughout the competition.
