Paris St. Germain has reached the sixteenth finals of the French Football Cup lackluster, but is seriously concerned about its superstar Neymar. At 1-0 (0-0) at the second division SM Caen, the Brazilian had to leave the field in the 60th minute. It is questionable whether Neymar can play in the last 16 of the Champions League in a duel with his ex-club FC Barcelona on Tuesday (9 p.m.).
After two tougher fouls within a short period of time, Neymar left the pitch in apparent pain while the game was on and went straight to the dressing room. Only during the next interruption could coach Mauricio Pochettino replace world champion Kylian Mbappe for his superstar.
Before his injury, Neymar had played the 1-0 through Moise Kean (49th). Ex-world champion Julian Draxler was in the starting line-up on Wednesday evening, as was Thilo Kehrer.
