France blocks gas price until April and wants to limit electricity price increase as energy becomes more expensive worldwide

The discussion about energy prices – and what we can do about it – is not only raging in our country. Prices are skyrocketing all over Europe. The French government now wants to intervene, Prime Minister Castex has stated. The government will block the gas price until April. “There will be no more gas price increases,” the prime minister assured on the commercial channel TF1. Castex puts the deadline on April, because he expects prices should fall again by then.
