Two activists of the organization Riposte alimentaire were arrested in France for throwing orange powder in the Hall of Mirrors of the Palace of Versailles.
According to Le Figaro, the organization fighting for the sustainability of the food production system issued a statement regarding the protest, stressing that “access to food is a right recognized by international law” and condemning “the growing inequalities that allow a privileged minority to monopolize resources’.

As the publication reminds, this particular organization has concerned French justice in the past with similar interventions in the country’s museums.
