In data October 16, 2024 the Framework Agreement on flexible working in the private sector was signed between the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Jubilee of the Catholic Church 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, the Lazio Region, the Metropolitan City of Rome, the Employers’ Associations (Unindustria, Federlazio, Confcommercio, Confesercenti, Confartigianato, LegaCoop, CNA, Confcooperative, AGCI) and the trade unions (CGIL, CISL and UIL).
The social partners accepted the invitation of the Mayor Roberto Gualtieri to sign theFramework Agreement on agile working in the private sector. This is an initiative of great collective responsibility, through which the Parties intend to actively contribute to the resolution of problems related to mobility in the Capital, in particular in the central areas, where traffic is further burdened by the presence of numerous construction sites, in view of the Jubilee of the Catholic Church of 2025.
In compliance with the union relations system and where the particular type of activity carried out allows it, the Parties will undertake to promote the implementation of smart working days, where already envisaged, or the ex novo introduction of this method of carrying out the work. work activity, compatibly with the needs of local businesses.
The conciliation between life and work, balanced with the production needs of each company, is feasible based on the specificities of individual business realities and aims to facilitate the management of emerging critical issues in the capital, while ensuring the operational continuity of companies. The contribution of the social partners is part of this perspective and, within a collaborative system of trade union relations, will support companies in managing this delicate phase.
The agreement will remain in force untilJanuary 8, 2025the date on which the Parties will meet again to evaluate the effects of the agreement and discuss any further measures to be adopted in view of the Jubilee Year.
