“Daughter of the prisoner”–
Sina Entertainment News Beijing September 20 news, according to foreign media reports, Kate Beckinsale, Brian Cox star of the family drama “The Prisoner’s Daughter” released a clip, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
The story follows Max (Cox), an arrogant and tough ex-con who struggles to find a way to reconnect with his only daughter, Maxine (Beckinsale) and granddaughter, and once he starts trying to reconcile, his violent past is making a comeback.
Tyson Ritter (“The Missionary”, “Love and Mercy”) plays Maxine’s ex-husband, Tyler, who fights for custody of his son. Katherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”, “Thirteen”) directed the screenplay for Mark Butch (“Northern Rescue”, “Inside the Net”).
