VIVA – Rivalry between the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) with Commander Kodam Jaya (Pangdam Jaya) Maj. Gen. Dudung Abdurrahman is not over. This friction was triggered by Dudung’s statement at the end of last week that he admitted ordering his subordinates to leave billboard Habib Rizieq and stated that he wanted to dissolve FPI.
Until finally TNI Headquarters corrected Dudung’s statement that the order to remove billboards was not ordered by TNI Commander Marshal Hadi. Dudung also straightened out his statement that the TNI could not disband FPI, because that was the government’s authority.
Recently the Chairman of the DPP FPI Ustaz Awit Mashuri exposed a secret that was not yet known to the public. Before Dudung ordered the removal of billboards, it turned out that FPI and Pangdam had a meeting on November 18, 2020.
At that time, said Awit, FPI was well received and looked close. The meeting held in his office did not discuss the billboards installed in almost all corners of Jakarta.

However, there was an interesting incident which, according to Awit, could change the Pangdam’s view. The next day, the Pangdam became fierce and even asked that no more Habib Rizieq billboards be installed on the road.

However, the two-star general straightened out his statement. He said that the TNI could not disband FPI.
