Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya released arrests 4 suspected terrorist in Condet, East Jakarta; and Bekasi District. A number of pieces of evidence from the search of the suspected terrorist’s house were also on display.
Monitoring at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (29/3/2021), there was a shirt with the writing of FPI and a book entitled ‘FPI Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Munkar’ which was also displayed in a row of evidence. In addition, there is a shirt that says ‘Laskar Pembela Islam (LPI)’.
The Jakarta Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, did not explain in more detail about the FPI’s clothes and books. He also did not explain from suspected terrorist where were the clothes and books found. Fadil only explained that the findings of these clothes would be explored.
“Yes, including that. If there is a connection, it is an initial finding. It will be explored by Densus 88 friends,” said Fadil. Fadil answered journalists’ questions about FPI’s clothes on display in the evidence.
Fadil revealed that the Police would convey further developments regarding the findings of the FPI shirt. Includes questions of explanation and development of investigation results.

For information, in the arrest of suspected terrorists in Condet and Serangbaru, Bekasi Regency, 4 people were arrested. The four suspected terrorists were ZA, BS, AJ, and HH.
In this arrest, the police also found five active bombs. Fadil said the TATP of the five bombs was capable of making about 70 pipe bombs. The bomb weighed 3.5 kilograms.
“From the findings of the explosives and the available raw materials, according to the team’s calculation, the TATP of five jar bombs weighing 3.5 kg is estimated to be able to make about 70 pipe bombs. Earlier, the size of the pipe from the raft to a bomb would be 70. “Approximately 70 pipe bombs. This is the effect of the TATP bomb that was detected and prevented by the friends of the Special Detachment 88 Regional Police of the Metro Jaya Regional Police,” said Fadil.
