The Islamic Defenders Front Legal Aid Team (REIT), Aziz Yanuar stated sanctions against members of the TNI who shouted “We are with you, Habib Rizieq Shihab“When he wanted to be in charge of securing Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Monday (9/11), it was excessive.
According to Aziz, the action taken by the TNI members is a form of love for the ulama.
“It is excessive, authoritarian, wrongdoing and unfair, because it is only a form of love for the ulama which represents freedom in terms of belief but is ignored by the (TNI) leadership,” said Aziz when contacted. CNNNIndonesia.com, Wednesday (11/11).
“This form of freedom of expression and expression is guaranteed by law. This is also ignored by the leadership,” he added.
In addition, Aziz believes that the imposition of sanctions proves principle equality before the law has been lost in Indonesia.

Previously, a video recording showing a TNI member shouting ‘We are with you Habib Rizieq Shihab’ went viral on social media. One member then gets sanctions from the unit.
Kapendam Jaya Colonel Inf Refki Efriandana Edwar said the member in the video is Kopda Asyari Tri Yudha, a member of Company A Yonzikon 11 Kodam Jaya who is in charge of securing vital objects of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
On his way to work, he stated Asyari made a video recording.
“And giving comments on different tasks from the tasks given by the Command for securing vital national objects of Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” Refki said in a written statement.
In the order of military life, said Refki, Asyari’s actions were clearly against the law. Namely, Article 8 letter a of Law Number 25 of 2014 concerning Military Discipline Law.
The article reads: all actions that are contrary to official orders, official regulations, or actions that are not in accordance with military regulations.
“And will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the level of error,” said Refki.
