One ambulance REIT arrived at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The ambulance car picked up the bodies of Habib Rizieq’s followers who were shot dead on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to be brought to Petamburan.
On site monitoring, Tuesday (8/12/2020), the FPI ambulance arrived at RS Polri at 20.12 WIB. The officers at the location immediately opened the fence for the ambulance to enter the hospital.
Seen on the windshield of the ambulance the words ‘DPD FPI DKI Jakarta’. Shortly thereafter, the ambulance left at 20.28 WIB leaving the Police Hospital.
The police car was seen escorting the FPI ambulance as it left the Police Hospital. A few minutes later, the second FPI ambulance arrived at the Police Hospital.
Previously, the police were seen on guard in the forensic room of the Police Hospital. The body will be immediately taken to Petamburan, Central Jakarta.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that his party would escort the six bodies of Habib Rizieq’s followers when they were taken by the family. The police will escort them to the destination of each of the six bodies.
“Everything will be carried out by escorting to the destination which is directed by the family,” said Yusri at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/12).
Meanwhile, since this afternoon, the mourners had arrived at Jalan Petamburan III. Laskar also guarded the side of the road while controlling traffic.
“At 19.00 WIB we will arrive at the Petamburan Sharia Headquarters. God willing, the bodies will arrive, departing from the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, inshaallah at 18.00 WIB,” said one of the paramilitary troops via loudspeakers.
Laskar then asked other residents to move the vehicles parked around Gang Paksi.
“Please remove those who put them in Gang Paksi temporarily. Please move four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles. I beg your understanding,” he added.
