The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) confirmed the departure of the now former technical director of the Peruvian national team, Juan Reynoso, whom it thanked for “his commitment in managing the bicolor team.”
“Today it is our responsibility to report that a better understanding has been reached to complete his cycle as technical director and we express our best wishes for success in the next steps of his professional career,” the statement reads.

The entity explained that they opted for Reynoso and his coaching staff due to his experience and career and expressed their confidence that he can continue to “successfully represent Peruvian coaches.”
Juan Reynoso was technical director of the white and red team during the six games of the first phase of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. He was criticized for not having achieved a victory for the national team while he was in charge.
