Foy, Fuy, Fuy: Egypt’s Entry for Best Non-English-Speaking Film at the Academy Awards

A few days after the film “Foy, Fuy, Fuy,” starring Egyptian actors Mohamed Farrag and Nelly Karim, was shown in cinemas, the film screening committee decided to participate in the film’s competition for the Academy Award for Best Non-English-Speaking Film, as this film was chosen to represent Egypt in the competition. Thus, it outperforms the movie “The House of the Ruby” by actor Karim Abdel Aziz and the movie “On the Zero” by artist Mohamed Ramadan.

An indication that he is participating in the movie “Voy! Voy! Voy!”, starring actors Bayoumi Fouad and Taha Desouky, written and directed by Omar Hilal.

The film tells the story of Hassan, a security guard who lives a poor life with his mother, and seeks to travel outside Egypt by joining the football team for the blind.
