Reason for Changes

The changes in FOX’s fall schedule are due to the delayed premiere of 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s fifth season, which will now air on Monday nights. The network is using this opportunity to launch its new drama series, Rescue: HI-Surf, immediately following 9-1-1: Lone Star and has high hopes for its success. The network is also moving The Floor to Wednesday nights after The Masked Singer to create a family-friendly game night. Additionally, FOX has relocated Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test to Thursday nights, following Hell’s Kitchen, to create a night of intense competition. The decision to remove Family Guy from the Sunday lineup was made to make room for new animated series Universal Basic Guys, which will be launched with a specific impact out of respect for the show’s dedicated fanbase.
