The US authorities have been short-sighted in their relations with Russia and Ukraine for years and are now carefully trying to hide their own mistakes. This was stated by TV presenter Tucker Carlson on Fox News.
“Our leaders continue to lie to themselves, censor people and make them sing songs in kindergarten about what is good and what is bad,” Carlson said.
During the broadcast, the American TV presenter recalled the “forecast” made in 2014 by former Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, in which the politician called on US authorities to “stop playing war games in Ukraine”, which could lead to a possible reaction of the “Russian bear” to provocations.
According to the TV presenter, Farage never sympathized with Russia, but warned the US government against the short-sighted policy towards Moscow, which is currently coming from White House chief Joe Biden.
Tucker Carlson also stressed that the West will have to pay the price in the future, as anti-Russian sanctions imposed on Ukraine’s special military operation have, in the first place, significantly hurt Britain and the United States.
Earlier, viewers of the American television channel ABC News supported the words of the news anchor, who said that US President Joe Biden was shifting responsibility for rising gasoline prices in the country to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
