The Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, announced that next Friday the 6th, Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of August the fourth vaccination against the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lima and Callao.

Along these lines, the Health Minister pointed out that in said immunization day, adults over 40 years of age and people of any age who have not yet received their second dose against COVID-19 will be prioritized.
He also pointed out that they will implement new vaccination centers in the interior of the country in order to replicate vaccines in regions and thus decentralize immunization against the coronavirus. “There is an important difference between the number of people vaccinated in the capital and what we have vaccinated in regions, where the percentage of vaccination is still very low ”, Held.
