Fourth complaint against Vizier op Links by musician Aafke Romeijn

Romeijn has been harassed and threatened online for years. Last week, she already called the police for identity fraud, because her name and address details were used by others to place orders.

As a result, the musician told last week in the AD about the harassment. Because of that harassment, she decided to take a Twitter break. Extreme right-wing parties are said to be targeting her, because of her statements as a left-wing feminist woman.

‘Scandalous’

Romeijn suspects that the bullying call on Telegram came about as a result of the article in AD. “I can’t prove it,” she says. “But I do link that call to the intensity of the threats that followed.”

Although Romeijn is off Twitter for the time being, she says she does not feel intimidated. “You get used to it,” she says. “I’m not that scared. Above all, I find it very annoying, annoying and scandalous that it happens.”
