However, according to “Fakt”, in the document 14th pensions are entered only for 2021, there is no mention of them for the following years. Their fate already sealed? Everything points to this, of course, if public finances are able to pay for the fourteenth pensions, the government may still consider their return. At the moment, this year is the last year of the fourteenth pensions.

Fourteen for retirees and pensioners are to be paid in the fall. They are equivalent to the lowest retirement pension, ie PLN 1,250 gross. Therefore, the beneficiaries will receive PLN 1022 each.

However, it should be remembered that the 14th retirement pension is subject to an income threshold, which is completely different than in the case of 13th retirement pensions, which go to everyone without exception and in the same amount.

However, with fourteen, the rule is PLN for PLN. The income threshold is set at PLN 2,900 gross. Exceeding this amount by one zloty means reducing the fourteen by one zloty. And so on until the gross amount of the collected benefit is reached. Then the fourteen will no longer be due.

In numbers, it looks like that about 1.2 million retirees will receive a reduced benefit in accordance with the PLN for PLN principle. However, about 500 thousand. pensioners who receive the highest benefits will not receive the 14th pension at all.
