Three men of Moroccan origin and Spanish nationality, between 20 and 30 years old, have been arrested by the National Police after the macro-bottle that took place this morning in Cartagena.
They were arrested in fragants when they fled the place, in front of the Cartagena bullring, after seeing the arrival of the National Police patrols, which has taken over the investigation.
According to police sources consulted by Radio Murcia, the detainees would be the alleged perpetrators of the knife strokes that have caused injuries of varying degrees to three men of South American origin who are being treated at the Santa Lucía hospital in the port city. One of them is in serious condition and has had to undergo surgery after receiving five stab wounds.
This morning, the emergency health services have treated and transferred to the hospital 4 young people, between 21 and 38 years of age, all men, who have been injured by a knife and of various degrees in fights and riots derived from a large bottle held this morning in the university area of Cartagena, next to the UPCT’s Muralla del Mar campus, according to sources from the Murcia Region Emergency Coordination Center.
The 1-1-2 received the first call communicating injuries in a melee at 7.27 am this Sunday, which were followed by several more. At that time the patrols of the Local and National police were already in place.
The Coordinating Center of Units of the Management of Urgencies and Health Emergencies 061 mobilized three medicalized units and two non-assistance ambulances. The health workers treated 4 people injured in 3 fights who were later transferred to the “Santa Lucía” hospital in Cartagena. According to these sources, his injuries are not serious.
According to police sources, among those transferred to the hospital was one of the three detainees who had injuries that were not serious.
