By the end of 2022, four women under the age of 40 lost their lives to breast cancer in Veracruz, lamented the president of Mujeres Apoyando Mujeres (MAM), Roxana Guízar Rodríguez.

He lamented that the majority of women who lose their lives due to cancer is due to late detection, in the case of 35-year-old Ruth.
“From 40 and under, young, in fact Ruth was 35 years old, then it’s suddenly sad to see how people so young lose the battle and most are due to late detection”.

Guízar Rodríguez stressed that cancer was detected in five people in a timely manner for treatment.
He pointed out that women in advanced stages of cancer like the four with metastases continuously arrive, especially at ages 60 and older.
It should be noted that on March 8, Casa MAM will hold a fashion catwalk to benefit women with breast cancer.
