Previously, it was also reported that the emergence of a new variant of Covid-19 can reduce the level of efficacy, so that it affects whether it is effective or not vaccine.
Professor Amin Subandrio from LBM Eijkman explained the reduction could be 10 to 20 percent. However, until now there has been no finding of a variant that causes efficacy vaccine below 50 percent, which is the WHO standard, National Geographic Indonesia previously reported.
