NEW YORK — While there was no jackpot winner for Wednesday’s $750 million Powerball drawing, the sixth-largest in the game’s history, four third-prize winning tickets were sold in New York, including a Powerplay valued at $150,000.
The winningest ticket of the night for New Yorkers was sold in Hempstead, Long Island, at 665 Peninsula Blvd.
In addition to the Powerplay winner, three other third-prize winning tickets were sold statewide, including two winners in Manhattan and Brooklyn boroughs and one in the city of Dannemora — all worth $50,000. The Brooklyn ticket was sold at a liquor store in Canarsie located at 8606 Flatlands Avenue. The Manhattan ticket was sold at a supermarket located at 159-04 Harlem River Drive and the upstate ticket was sold at Stewart’s Shops at 1173 Cook Street off Route 374.

The last time someone won the Powerball jackpot was on April 19 with a prize of $252.6 million. Since then, no one has won the grand prize in the last 35 consecutive draws.
Winning numbers in the Powerball game are drawn from a field from one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field from one to 26. Players will get their next shot at the jackpot, which has now increased to $875 million, Saturday.
