Four stormers in the OPCW building in The Hague will remain detained for at least fourteen days | Inland

The four are suspected of open violence in association against persons, of violence against the property of an internationally protected organization and of vandalism.

The other 40 protesters have been released. They will have to answer to the judge later. They are suspected of local trespassing, destruction and violence against the property of an internationally protected organisation. A large part of this group has been handed over to the Aliens Police (AVIM) to check their residence documents. They have been ordered, where appropriate, to return to their country of origin.

The activists demonstrated against the alleged use of chemical weapons by Turkey in Kurdish villages. The group climbed the fence at the back of the OPCW site using ladders.

Four of the detained protesters were injured and taken to hospital. Two officers also suffered minor injuries in the arrests.
