Four sportswomen selected in France along the coast at the Landéda sailing center – Landéda

This weekend, four of the six teams from the Aber-Wrac’h sailing center won medals at the Brittany longe-coast championship on Tréompan beach, in Ploudalmézeau. The sportswomen classified in the first three of each event were qualified for the French championship in Hyères (Var) on October 16: Maguy Le Gac, gold medal in the 100 m, one of the oldest members of the club and of the competition ( Masters 4 are 70 years old and over), Véronique Hoarau, silver in the 400m, Viviane Le Gac, bronze in the 400m, Claudine Bourdoulous, Véronique Hoarau and Viviane Le Gac, bronze in the 1000m third.

“The conditions were a bit difficult, especially in the morning when the swell was strong, but thanks to our training, we are very happy with our results. We also had a large group of supporters (family, friends and of course other longeurs): around thirty people made the trip to encourage us and share a picnic ”, specifies Viviane Le Gac.
