Four Seasons Education (FEDU) Reports Third Quarter Loss of $ 0.01 on $ 10.3 Million

Four Seasons Education (NYSE: FEDU) posted third quarter EPS of ($ 0.01). Revenue for the quarter was $ 10.3 million.

“During the third quarter of fiscal 2021, we continued to optimize our operations to provide a superior learning experience for our students in their pursuit of academic excellence and personal development,” said Ms. Yi (Joanne) Zuo, Director and CEO of Four Seasons Education. “The total number of students enrolled reached 53,493 with higher than expected income, which assures us that our strategies are on track to help our business recover and return to its pre-pandemic development path. In the third quarter, we led efforts to enrich and further diversify the study programs with new educational programs, covering a wide range of academic subjects to meet the growing learning needs for high school entrance exams continued recent regulatory changes. We were delighted to see a 54.5% year-over-year growth in college class enrollment this quarter, which set a new record.

Our unwavering efforts to improve our unique offering of study programs also paid off this quarter with continued growth in our enrollment retention rates. Currently, we are seeing a year over year increase in revenue and enrollment for our winter courses. This is a testament to the effectiveness of our core capabilities in delivering high quality educational products, developing innovative and responsive study programs, and maintaining a strong team of tutors. Additionally, we have leveraged our great expertise in delivering tangible learning outcomes to make significant progress in our nationwide expansion, which has resulted in improved enrollment at learning centers outside of Shanghai. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our brand’s educational products and pedagogical approaches to further drive student enrollment and engagement, paving the way for a future of profitable growth. We are convinced that our ability to provide cutting-edge courses and services has enabled us to seize new opportunities in a recovering market and create a long-term sustainable business, ”Ms. Zuo concluded.
