All those involved in the case denied that the sheets of white paper on their windows bore political overtones.
In Minsk, four local residents were arrested and convicted for placing white sheets of paper on the windows. Now they will serve from 13 to 28 days. This was announced on Tuesday, July 27 Telegram channel “Spring.”
It is reported that 26-year-old Yuri Klimoshevsky, 31-year-old Andrey Muravyov, 32-year-old Denis Kulikov and 42-year-old Maya Shatokhina were detained at home and accused of “expressing their political interests through a white sheet of paper in the window.”
And although the defendants said that the paper had nothing to do with their political sympathies, the court decided to send all four to their cells.
The court arrested Klimoshevsky and Shatokhina for 15 days, Kulikov for 13 days, Muravyov for 28 days.
In addition, two phones and two laptops were seized from Klimoshevsky during the search.
