3. Will there be fireworks?
There is no general ban on fireworks. The decision whether or not to allow fireworks on New Year’s Eve is taken by the municipality. Some municipalities do not have a ban at all, in others you have to submit an application to light fireworks and in others there is a strict ban. If you plan to fire a few arrows, it is best to inquire with the municipality.

4. Can I celebrate abroad?
You can safely spend the night of New Year’s Eve at a holiday destination. In that case, take into account the corona measures and travel rules of the destination country. Many countries require the CST, an entry form or sometimes a negative test before you can enter the country.
