Four people were injured in a traffic accident on the Ring Road of Stara Zagora, near the “Zora” road junction, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Stara Zagora informed BTA.

The incident was reported at 6:25 p.m. It happened on I-5 and was initially reported to be between two cars driven by males aged 20 and 18. The two drivers and two female passengers of both cars were injured – one aged 19 and the other 17. The 18-year-old driver tested negative for alcohol.
Traffic on the I-5 Stara Zagora – Kazanlak road in the Stara Zagora region was restricted in both directions.
Drivers of passenger cars, moving in the direction of Kazanlak, turn through the village of Hristcheni to the I-5 Stara Zagora – Kazanlak road, and the heavy-duty motor vehicles are waiting in their place.
Traffic is regulated by the “Traffic Police”.
As BTA said, earlier in the evening the traffic on the road from Stara Zagora to Kazanlak in Stara Zagora district was made in two directions in one lane. As a result of the strong storm, there have been many incidents in the area, on which emergency teams are working. Several fallen trees were also reported, creating conditions for road accidents.
The strong wind in Sliven today backed up the Turkish LAND on the Sub-Balkan road Sofia – Burgas, said BNR.
No one was injured in the incident. On two other TIRs, the wind tore the covers off the trailers. All incidents occurred outside the lane of traffic and the road was not closed.

Emergency crews are working to eliminate the accidents.
Broken branches and trees that cross the road network are cleared.
The winds also affected several billboards in the city.
