A little boy died Sunday afternoon in Istres (Bouches-du-Rhône).
The emergency services tried to resuscitate the child who was in an unsanitary apartment.
According to France 3, the police have found many boxes of drugs in this apartment.
He may have died after ingesting medication and becoming unwell.
Four adults present in the accommodation at the time of the facts, close to the victim and members of his family, were taken into police custody.
An autopsy should be performed.
