The SFRS received an invitation to Ādaži municipality, where a two-storey residential building and the roof of an adjacent garage with a total area of 600 square meters burned at 16.51.
26 firefighters were involved in the extinguishing, using six tank trucks and a ladder.
The fire is currently localized.
Four people were injured in the fire, including a firefighter who was referred to a doctor.
It has already been reported that rescuers in Riga, Jaunciems, extinguished a seven-hectare forest fire on Monday night, in which two rescuers were injured.
