Four people have drowned in separate incidents over Easter weekend in Batangas and Quezon provinces. One victim, Khailyn, was on a religious retreat with her family in San Juan when she was discovered floating in the swimming pool at around 1:40pm. Another victim, Lucas, was found at the bottom of a different resort pool in San Juan at 8:50pm. Bobong Rivera’s body was found in a deeper part of a river in Barangay Malibu in Tuy. The final victim, Charlie Licat, drowned in Lucena City after going for a swim following a night of drinking. The police are conducting further investigations.
