Four New Faces Join Click & Mortar’s Growing Family Portrait

Four faces have just joined the growing family portrait of Click & Mortar. Coming from a variety of backgrounds, Yana Khanetska, Simon Pierre Gagnon, Michael Grenier et Jules Sabourin join the 35 talents that the Montreal digital agency already has.

“We have long made the decision to be a learning organization, to invest in the development of our new recruits who are often in their first experience in a digital agency, explains Olivier J. Bergeronwho co-founded Click & Mortar in 2016. That said, it’s always very flattering when profiles with extensive experience in our world decide to join us and build the team with us.

Hired as a digital performance analyst, Yana Khanetska recently arrived in Montreal from Ukraine, where she had worked in a digital agency for several years. “The prospect of applying my experience in the new Quebec environment and at Click delights me,” confides the native of kyiv. And I love digital marketing for its constant evolution. This is one area where you always have to follow the trend. That’s exactly what I like.”

Michael Grenier, who joins Click & Mortar as a specialist in digital performance, is of converging opinion: “Digital marketing is constantly evolving, he notes. It is therefore necessary to constantly keep up to date. That’s the beauty of digital. Beauty he knows intimately, he who worked for a long time as a digital marketer in an agency as well as in many companies – the Montreal Canadiens, in particular – before joining the ranks of Click. Having met the founders of the agency when he was on the client side, he had fallen in love with their contagious passion for digital; and he had been impressed by their ambitious visions. Today, he is happy to be able to contribute his own to the building of Click & Mortar: “I am confident that my experience in several areas, particularly in an agency, will be beneficial to Click and its clients”, says he candidly.

Simon Pierre Gagnon will work as a specialist in digital creativity. He has extensive experience in the purchase and management of digital media, notably with the Literacy Foundation and for Jungle Media. “I had the chance to pass through various backgrounds, he explains, both in the agency and on the client side, where I was able to experience the reality of businesses, government, non-profit organizations , and many more. I come back to the agency with a full background and a thirst for new challenges.”

Finally, after several years as a freelance copywriter, Jules Sabourin officially joins an agency for the first time. “I found at Click a philosophy of work and creation with which I resonate,” he confides. I was not very familiar with the digital universe, having mainly worked, over the years, on traditional campaigns. But I immediately recognized that here was the place to learn and evolve in the now essential sphere of digital advertising.

With major new clients – HEC Montréal and La Cordée, among others – and a happy cohort of recent arrivals, Click and Mortar are in the saddle for a colorful seventh fall.
