There are few new close contacts related to these four new cases of infection, says municipal chief physician Jonas Holte on Tuesday night.
– Unfortunately, there have been people in the contagious phase visiting Harstad on Thursday 15 July. As a consequence of this, we recommend everyone who was at Grottebadet in the period 12 to 15.30 on 15 July, to get tested. Those who stood in line to enter Grottebadet during this time are also asked to test themselves.
This will include many hundreds of people, according to the municipal chief. The test capacity at Luftveisklinikken will be increased on Wednesday and Thursday to be able to test everyone.
The municipality also asks everyone who visited Peppe’s Pizza on Thursday 15 July between 15 and 17 to test themselves. Here, visitors may also have been exposed to infection.
