Several men, who are suspected of running an agreement point on the slopes of Croix-Rousse in Lyon, were arrested on Tuesday and remanded in pre-trial detention on Friday, November 15.
On Tuesday, November 12, four people were arrested by the police from the western department of Lyon, after an investigation that lasted several weeks. All migrants, they are suspected of holding the point of agreement on the esplanade Grande-Côte, which is located on the slopes of Croix-Rousse. according to Progressthey sell cannabis on site.
If one of them was arrested at the point of sale, in possession of drugs; the other three were arrested in a squat on rue Henri-Gorjus, in the 4th arrondissement. 158 grams of packaged cannabis was found there.

Remanded in pre-trial detention
In police custody, the four accused identified themselves as minors, but their statements were questioned by the minority assessment unit who deemed three of them to be more than 20 years old.
Presented to a juvenile judge, the little man was released; and the other three were to be handed over to prosecutors at the end of the week to appear immediately. But their hearing was eventually postponed until early January. In the meantime, they were placed in pre-trial detention and OQTFs (Obligations to leave French territory) were issued against them by the prefecture, again according to Progress.
