IRAN – Four Men that rape a woman Mountain climber in front of her husband had been executed in a manner hung up.
According to the Justice Organization for the region, the four rapists were arrested by the police after extensive investigations.
The men’s gang was identified by Fariman city police and charged with the kidnapping and rape of a woman and threats of violence against a man.
The Khorasan Razavi Criminal Court sent the case to the Supreme Court where the four men were sentenced to death by hanging.
The executions took place at the Mashhad Central Prison on Monday (15/3) morning.
The four perpetrators were Ruhollah Javidi Rad, Mohammad Sayadi Baghansgani, Mohammad Hosseini and Mohammad Watandoost.

It is known that the heinous attack was said to have occurred while the victim was climbing in Khorasan Razavi province, in northeastern Iran.
Iranian International TV reported that the men were believed to have tied the husband’s hands and feet before raping his wife in front of him.
While the men were convicted in this case in Iran, victims of rape are seen as often facing charges of adultery, indecency or immoral behavior once they report sexual assaults to the police.
The threat of being charged with adultery, indecency, and immoral behavior in Iran for reporting sexual harassment often deters many women in Iran from reporting crimes against them.
In the country’s legal system, sex outside of marriage is punishable by flogging so that the victim can be prosecuted if the authorities do not believe it.

Several women in Iran have expressed their experiences of sexual harassment and violence on social media even though Twitter and Facebook are banned there.
“It is difficult to say whether this type of crime has increased in Iran, but because of the widespread use of social media, these crimes are common. has become more exposed, ”said legal analyst on Iran International TV, Nargess Tavassolian when commenting on the number of attacks on women in Iran.
Iran is one of the few countries in the world that executes a person found guilty of rape. The Iranian regime executes more people per capita than any other country.
According to Amnesty International there were more than 251 executions in 2019.
