Four men have been imprisoned for two weeks in complete isolation after a man in his 50s was subjected to serious violence in Kviteseid in Telemark on Monday evening.
The four who have been charged with grievous bodily harm or complicity have been remanded in Telemark District Court with a ban on letters and visits and full isolation until March 1, writes VG.
The police received a report about the violent incident at 11pm on Monday. The man in his 50s had such serious injuries that he was sent by air ambulance to hospital.
The condition is serious, but not life-threatening for the man, the police said on Tuesday.
The men are respectively 18, 23, 24 and 27 years old. Three of them pleaded not guilty when the charges were read out. The 23-year-old would not take a position on the charge, writes The cairn.
All four are from the Oslo area and are characterized as acquaintances by the police. according to Telemark newspaper are all previously convicted.
The relationship between the victim and the four men is currently unclear to the police.
