The rape is said to have taken place in connection with a party on Sunday 11 July, writes Bergens Tidende. The men have been arrested this weekend, but were to be released on Sunday.
– The police have done a lot of work in the case and now believe that there is no longer a risk of evidence being lost, says on-duty lawyer Rune Malt to the newspaper.
The newspaper has been in contact with the defenses of three of the accused. Lawyers Ole-Petter and Carl-Christian Grythe Hoff say that their clients do not admit criminal guilt after the charge. Lawyer Eirik Nåmdal will not comment on the case on behalf of his client.
