Four people were injured in a traffic accident on the A1 near the exhibition center in the direction of Vienna this morning, a Red Cross spokeswoman confirmed to SALZBURG24. The extent of the injury is not yet known, she said. The injured were taken by ambulance to emergency hospital and state hospital.
A truck may also have been involved in the accident, according to the images.
The accident on the A1 leads to a long traffic jam
Due to the accident and a temporary total closure of the A1 at the exhibition center, a huge backlog was built up to Siezenheim. At 11:30 the traffic jam cleared up again. Three emergency vehicles and two ambulances attended the scene.
