The facts date back to November 21, 2012. That day in Strasbourg, four firefighters from the southern barracks of the city wake up two of their new colleagues for a hazing. They then take them to the refectory, having breakfast.

In front of other firefighters, the two victims are then undressed and one tied to a table with cellophane. This is where an egg is placed in his posterior, with orders to break it so that the yolk flows over the face of the other recruit, head to tail, according to the Latest News from Alsace.

They admit having “gone a little too far”

Before the Strasbourg Criminal Court on January 15, the defendants, now aged 36 to 45, had confessed to having “gone a little too far”.

This Thursday, they were sentenced to 90 day fines of 5 euros and will have to pay 250 euros in damages to one of the victims, the only one to have lodged a complaint.
