A shooting at a shopping center in Greenwood has left four people dead and two injured, police said. The shooter is also among the dead.
After the gunman opened fire, he was shot dead by an armed passer-by in the mall. That’s according to a statement from the mayor of Greenwood, Indiana.
Earlier, three people were killed and three injured.
A team from the explosive ordnance disposal service is present in the shopping center, the police report. An abandoned backpack would have been found in one of the toilets, the local station reports WRTV.
It is not yet clear what the shooter’s motive was.
