Four of Cuba’s best-known actresses have decided to combine their talent for the first time in exile, with a play that promises to be a true success.
Irela Bravo, Susana Pérez, Beatriz Valdés and Verónica López will join the scene for the comedy Intimate Enemieswhich will arrive at the Trail Theater in the ‘Ciudad del Sol’ starting next March 23.
Under the direction of Yusnel Suárez, and with a libretto by Argentine Sergio Marcos, the work is projected as a success among the Miami public, thanks to the united talent of four iconic figures of Cuban acting, who are now gathered outside the Island .
Through social networks, it was Suárez who published a witty promotional video, created by his photography studio OMG Studios Miami. The recording shows the four actresses dancing to the rhythm of the Latin version of Feverwhich features the interpretation of La Lupe.
“Are you ready for the fever?” the four ask Instagram users, who have shown great surprise at the collaboration, while eager to see them together on stage.
The video, published on the networks this Monday, already has thousands of views and comments from several users who have expressed their excitement and their desire to see the four talents live.
“My goodness, what artists are going to come together. By God, many successes, more than deserved”; “First class equipment”; “Sure success, tremendous cast of stars,” are some of the comments.
Most Cubans in Miami agree that this is a unique opportunity. This is, at the same time, Irela Bravo’s first major acting project since she decided to settle in Miami permanently.
The actress arrived in the United States last October, and after several speculations about the possibility that she would remain in exile, since she had already visited and returned to Cuba on other occasions, the actress confessed that she left Cuba “for survival.”
After her arrival on American soil, the artist has resumed her career as an actress thanks to some occasional appearances in comedy Havana in Hialeaha version of Live the story created by island artists established in Miami.
